You do realize that shortening links is fully commoditized. Charging for that, even at a one time cost, is aggressive imho. Bitly isn't just a link shortener, it is a marketing and customer intelligence platform. The $995 for Enterprise is for businesses with high traffic looking for viral safe ways of pushing brand, tracking audience and aggregating insights. SMBs won't see the same value. ...

I've been following this narrative for a while. The backstory is great. Charles, as always, has put his heart into this product.
