Hey, I'm Alex and I like building stuff. I've worked at PayPal, Course Hero (I built their Android app from scratch), Meta (I was a tech lead at Instagram Ads, scaling story ads revenue from $1.5B to $5B+), and Robinhood (tech lead working on profile revamp and their new cash card). I also build mobile apps in my spare time, starting in 2013. I have published ~30 apps that have gotten 3 million+ users combined, all for fun and on the side. I'm now working on Taro, the world's best platform at making software engineers better at their jobs. It was mainly inspired by my time mentoring engineers at Meta and Robinhood, where I was able to get my mentees at lightning speed, with several growing from junior [L3] to senior [L5] in ~2.5 years!
