Indie hackers is always my #1 to go to listen to cool stories from entrepreneurs.
In terms of books, I think "Zero to Sold" and "The Mom Test" were the most useful.

Great journey, congrats! Thanks for sharing!
Curious what tools you eventually decide using for reporting and if you don't mind sharing on how did you set them up?

Landing page feedback appreciated!
Hey Product Hunters!
It's my first post here, and I hope to get to be more involved into the community.
I just recently refreshed and relaunched the landing page for my product: https://tacodigest.com.
I would love to hear your opinion about it.
Does it clear what the product do? Can you quickly understand it?
What can I do to make my positioning more clear?
General UI/design tips?
Anything...

I launched with one-off purchases because I wanted to have first users. But eventually disabled it because I don't see how it would be sustainable. I assume it depends on the product and lifecycle of users.
Does your startup offer subscriptions only or one-time purchases too?

If it's pre-launch, I would say by competitor analysis. Their growth, customers, traffic etc.
How do you measure product-market fit?

Mainly, consistency and focus. Basically to get (ship) things done 😅
But in terms of application skills, probably going to dive into SEO more.

It was fun to follow how you build Ellie on Twitter! I think it's one of the most useful and interesting applications of AI I've seen.

So far I was mostly building the features I need myself. Because I'm actively using my product. But recently I started thinking more from the target audience perspective and try and narrow down the features for the niche.
Following the competitors also helps. Nice if your competitors have some kind of roadmap or public feature request board.
How do you come up with ideas for new features (products)?

I recently switched from free plans to trial + paid only. So I offered the 30% discounts for old customers anyway so skipping the black friday :)
Black Friday is very close. Do you plan to offer discounts?
