It's a good strategy if done sparingly. There will always be lurkers who either
1. Loved your product that is priced out.
2. Are naturally deal hunters.
If there are a lot of these in your pipeline, then deals will be hugely successful.
What you don't want to happen though is to offer deals too often such that it ends up cannibalizing customers who will be willing to pay full price. And this...

From Reddit's explanation, the drive is cost and profitability driven. From the outside looking in, I am leaning toward giving them the slack as they are an unprofitable company that now needs to make decisions to turn things around. Free/cheap things are great but unless they are sustainable, we shouldn't expect them to be free/cheap forever.
What do you think about Reddit going dark over api prices?

It does sound crazy that Google will generate a business that generates $10M+ in revenue. But the fact is, this is a small amount compared to their other business units. Secondarily, there is a good chance anything that generates less than $100M for them is unprofitable by just considering how much they pay and the number of people that needs to focus on projects like these.

I've been using it mainly for two things; generating ideas for marketing copies, and generating ideas for strategies.
I've been wanting to learn how to properly prompt it for SQL queries, but haven't had the time yet to study up.

Really nice project! This is perfect for my team as we use WhatsApp heavily. Does this use ChatGPT 3.5 or 4

Hello team! We are currently using Zoom for our webinars. I haven’t explored the details heavily but Zuddl has a lot of potential. Can you give me a quick pro and con between the two?

I feel like a dinosaur saying this, but Notion. I've used it before, but didn't really appreciate it's full capability to be a Company Operating System platform until early this year.

wow... we had to do this manually ourselves. I hope this would have came earlier. Where is this product heading? Would it have something to offer to someone like us who has already finished migration?

There is a fine line between resilience and stubbornness.
I learned that from my failed startup. The marking was on the walls that there is no way for it to succeed, but I kept on pushing on far too long trying to give it "one last chance".

Referrals are usually highly valued by most employers because of the idea that high performers tend to be friends with other high performers, so this definitely has some basis.

The worst you can receive is a no.
The underlying principle is that in any discussion or negotiation, people tend to give way to any reasonable and small ask by another party. This small piece of advice had given me lower rents, small discounts, and nice perks through the years after hearing it.
What is the best advice you received?
