He spends his career building businesses and working with both Venture Funds and startups in diverse areas from Artificial Intelligence to climate technologies. Illai is a former Venture Partner at Siemens Energy Ventures and previously was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at BP where he built the strategy and the venturing units of the organizations together with Mckinsey & Co. and helped build next generation sustainability and impact ventures for those companies.
