I've been working on Zoom Player for over 22 years, ever since I had a need to play digital videos on old Analog CRT TVs that cropped the sides of digital signals.
The "Zoom" in "Zoom Player" represented the fact that I had to write code to work-around the analog problem by "Zooming" the video to match the Analog display's visual region.
