I wanted to set myself a challenge of creating an online business in 48 hours or less. Cartoonit is the result of that challenge. My good friend is an incredibly talented illustrator who has recently had a baby, so the motive for the website started there. I have also noticed an increase in custom illustrations being used as profile pictures on Twitter and wondered if I could tap into that...

I admire this workaround but it's so obvious that people are crying out for Native voice recording/snippets in Slack.

Shady. That's how I would describe my experience. No mention of pricing, literally, anywhere on the website. Even the explainer video doesn't mention that you'll be sent a link to "download" your site for just $4.99... just use /wget instead.

The UI on the Apps is a nice refreshment. The desktop website however, is seriously lacking. It feels rougher than before and seriously unfinished.

So much spam in the comments. Platejoy, hunted by "GaryVee" - 16 glowing reviews all from fake accounts, all who have only ever upvoted PlateJoy. PH obviously allowing it, maybe due to $$$, but it's just so disappointingly obvious. Just thought you should know. This comment will likely be buried.

Great work on this Jamie, but I feel many will need that custom domain name.

$61 to get this to the UK. Great idea and really nice execution with the website but £50 is far too much for a low-end cook book.

Looks like a rip-off of FIFA? Also, it's called "indoor" yet the images (taken from FIFA, btw) are inside stadiums.
