I work in AWS Lambda daily, so the ability to add physical buttons to trigger functions in the cloud, all without the need to be tethered to wifi or bluetooth, is really interesting to me. I'm curious what types of use cases people come up with. -Buttons to notify the city when a public restroom needs cleaning. -DIY panic button (ha!) -Geocaching / scavenger hunts

Looking forward to trying this out on iOS. I've noticed that tools like these (databases for the masses) often fall in an awkward area straddling simple/scalable and complex/powerful, and typically land in a place that leaves "power users" feeling trapped.
