For fun, I finished book 2 of Children of Blood & Bone (it's a YA trilogy). Book 3 comes out in 2021, it's like Harry Potter meets Beasts of No Nation taking place in a mythical West Africa. If you're into graphic novels Chew is a lot of fun, and anything by Octavia Butler is relevant and a good read.
Please recommend some of your favorite books!

I really liked travel shows like Globe Trekker and Rick Steve's Europe. Now, I watch smaller scale shows and influencers on YouTube like Strictly Dumpling or Korean Englishman. I like to build my travel experiences around food, culture, music and art/museums without getting sucked into tourist traps (or experience them during off peak times). Those channels are a great resource for showing...

How do you find potential users to interview for your product?
Since the world is mostly remote now, as a UX designer I find it challenging to find potential users. Outside of large firm focus groups, what resources or tactics have worked in the past year that have helped you not only find the right people but also interview them?

Wow @ronanawall this triggered me to check out my Strength Finders from 10yrs ago too. Then I found a similar test to take for free: https://high5test.com/strengthsfinder-free/
My results ended up being very similar and solidified things about myself that I knew but couldn't express. Thanks for this reminder!

I like this brand called The Futur they focus on the design of business and business of design. I find a lot of their content valuable, informative and interesting. I'm always learning something new. For fun I follow competitive eaters, astrologers and some high performance coaches for motivation.

Do audiobooks, essays and longform articles count? I'm an avid reader but I rarely buy actual books because I don't have the space for them. Though I did just buy Pocket Full of Do by Chris Do of The Futur.

This is dope! Let's activists and people who care make a big difference rather than the 1% needing to donate money to organizations for tax write-offs. The past few years have proven that everyday folks can and are willing to give just as much and this will allow them to "vet top charities actually solving world problems at the root." Nice work!

I'm thankful for my Beats3 headphones for my tunes to get through the work day, YouTube for being an excellent learning resource and a new app I discovered called Mercato that does delivery for independent grocery stores. It's saving Thanksgiving because Whole Foods ran out of a lot before my delivery yesterday :(

I like the inbox delay. Something like that would help me filter out a lot of unnecessary noise and it gives the illusion of control, I like that. Would there be a separate "after hours inbox", or would the mail that comes in after the time parameters get bounced?

Heavier items, like condiments or specialty sodas in glass bottles. Also, rarer condiments that aren't in any "ethnic foods" section at a local grocery store.
