This advice from one of our (https://www.withlloyd.com/) recent blog posts is a good perspective: “Stop trying to do what you think everyone wants you to do, follow your gut, listen to your heart, break some rules, and do work you are really proud of.”

We just restarted ours using WP Engine. I think it will vary depending on your strategy. If you're going for newsletter style blog, Substack could be it. I know it seems like a generic questions but it does have an impact - what are you trying to accomplish with the blog?

I have seen startups do this well when either they 1) share everything - revenue, churn, customer growth, etc., or 2) pick one metrics (e.g. user growth) and continue to create a narrative around that. Personally, I like #2 a bit more because you don't share everything but you are open. Curious your thoughts.

Love this concept - helping candidates know if jobs are truly remote or just "remote for now" will be very helpful in making recruiting transparent

I have found that evolves a lot, mostly driven by increased volumes. To start, usually is internal emailing saying "I got this one". But that scales TERRIBLY. So then it may be days on and days off. Eventually then full time role / automatic ticketing assignment. But you defintiely don't need that to start unless you get maybe >10 messages / day.

Lots of personal finance decisions to make, but putting those aside, I typically think that point is when you have iterated the idea a few times (2-3) and you can tangibly feel your conviction about the idea increasing. I know that isn't a hard and fast metric, but conviction is so important, knowing the ups and downs of startups that will follow. Good luck!
