I think virality is something that borns naturally and can't be enforced. That said, one easy way to go viral is to do/say/make something controversial.

I'm currently developing a mobile application for which I will need to scrape data from some sites to notify users about deals and price changes.

I think the main thing is to really focus on one project at a time, and only add notes to the others when you have 💡 until you finish the current one. That's what has been working for me lately.

I don't have too much trouble with the layout design, but I think the other points could be enhanced. Another useful feature could be to filter by subtags.
