In 2015, I read a book by Bryan Stevenson called Just Mercy. It highlighted the injustice in the criminal justice system for me in a way I'd never considered. That was my catalyst to build Uncovered, because for every wrongfully incarcerated person, there is a cold case yet to be solved.
