I am a mother of one and the founder of HIgedi, a social app designed to connect women with gestational diabetes experience and knowledge. The idea behind HIgedi was born from my journey: being very thin and having no history of diabetes in my family, I never expected this. And as there's no one-size-fits-all solution, I was lacking support. In the realm of gestational diabetes apps, most of them focus on tracking features and meal planning. However, none of them incorporate social elements. HIgedi is not a medical app or a tracker; it's a hub for connecting with people who share the experience of gestational diabetes. It's a place to engage in open discussions, search for a "gestational diabetes buddy" in your area, and discover a variety of gestational diabetes-related products.
