Baron sounds like a great way to democratize LLMs for people. I found that the prompt engineering is one of the key things holding users back. If you put garbage in, you get garbage out. How does the prompt engineering work in Baron? Interested to hear more about how that is streamlined for better outputs. Congrats on the launch!

I actually just listened to a YC podcast this morning about business models. The short of it is basically always charge something. The biggest YC companies tend to be SaaS so this question is very relevant to that show. Here is a link:

Great question, to add on, how would you go about building a community without them? I see a lot of people saying they are not as useful as they once were but what are the best ways to build community then? Seems like then you'd just be posting into a blackhole.
Are hashtags totally dead on all social media platforms?

Love a good book thread! I'm a sci-fi/Fantasy nerd along with startup / business books. So a few of my favorites:
Sci-Fi/Fantasy: Red Rising, Mountain Under the Sea, Dune
Startup: Grit, Atomic Habits, Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals
One more extra if you like westerns: Lonesome Dove
What are some good books to read?

UX/UI question: What type of login do you prefer?
There are so many ways users can login into products now. Here is a short list of the ones I know of but interested to hear thoughts on which is the best and why?
- Username/password
- Gmail
- Social (Facebook seems to be most used?)
- Magic link
- Username / get access code emailed

1️⃣ Time Management: Just as kids thrive on routine, startups need structured schedules. The efficiency I've mastered getting my kids ready in the morning? That translates into streamlined operations in my business.
2️⃣ Adaptability: Kids change their minds a lot. So do markets. Both require quick thinking, pivots, and staying two steps ahead.
3️⃣ Unwavering Motivation: On those hard days, it's the...

The Surprising Parallels Between Parenthood and Startups 🚀
Hey PH community! 💡 I've noticed some striking similarities between my journey as a parent and as a founder. From mastering time management to constantly pivoting based on ever-changing needs, it seems parenthood has been an unexpected startup bootcamp.
I'm curious - for the parent-founders in the community...
How has your experience with kids influenced your startup strategies?
Have you...

I was literally just trying to find a therapist that accepted insurance so very timely for me! One question, there's obviously very personal things shared. How does a user know their most personal parts of their life are secured and private?

Launching first week of October, where should we start?
I've read that gaining support ahead of a launch is crucial. But how does one actually go about doing that?
Is there a optimal day of the week to target?
Are there any creative assets we should create?
Any and all suggestions are welcome!

The Levi Strauss Strategy: Nvidia's Gold Rush
Impressed by Nvidia's soaring 843% YoY profit, it made me think of Levi Strauss's genius during the Gold Rush. Here's a parallel:
1️⃣ Recognizing Opportunity - Nvidia's bet on AI chips when everyone's hustling with AI innovations reminds me of Strauss's decision to sell jeans amidst gold miners.
2️⃣ Anticipation vs Reaction - The market rewards foresight. Strauss anticipated a need; Nvidia did...

Pixar’s Magic: Lessons for Startups
Ventured into a museum exhibit called the 'Science Behind Pixar' with my kids this weekend, and it was more than just animated fun. Here's what I gathered for the startup community:
1. Genuine Connection - Pixar’s characters resonate because they’re real. Your startup should too.
2. Obsess Over Details - Every pixel matters to Pixar; every user feedback should to you.
3. Collaboration...

What is the core DNA of startups? Beyond capital and valuations 🚀
Hey PH community! 🐱
I recently had a chat with a startup founder, and a poignant question surfaced: "We've got funding, but are we on the right track?"
It got me thinking - what truly defines a startup's success? Is it just capital and valuations?
Or is it:
Agility over size?
A commitment to never-ending education?
Building genuine relationships over mere networking?
Seeing setbacks as...

Did you learn a business lesson in an unexpected place?
About five years ago, I was helping my dad with a business idea selling Kenyan coffee. I met an elderly gentleman named Leo. He shared a story of how he'd traveled the world collecting unique coffee beans, but his true passion was connecting with people over a cup.
He believed every coffee told a story, a sentiment I found odd until we started using a similar ethos in our branding strategy....

Great idea and smart way to keep team efficiency high. I like the "similar to a flight...", really puts it in perspective! What are the levers besides salary? Or is that the primary means of calculating the cost of the meeting?
