I started my career as a writer in Hollywood, where I worked for some of the industry's top showrunners and producers. But when the pandemic hit, I realized I wanted to build something different. As I embarked on a four-year journey around the globe as a digital nomad, I discovered the magic of uncovering new things from people who shared similar taste to me — even if they lived a world away. It was then that I began building OmList — a movie recommendation app that matches people to their new favorite films. My work lives at the intersection of art and technology: I went from writing movies to building technology that helps you find them in a beautiful way with OmList.
