Feedback on our launch: Ember.ly
Hi fellow hunters!
We launched our product yesterday, but didn't really get much traction, so I am wondering what you would have done differently?

A lot of really good answers here, but to add my 2p, spending some time nailing the visual hierarchy never hurts.
Here is a link describing it far better than I can: https://www.nngroup.com/articles...

Currently rolling VSCode for frontend and kube stuff. Backend wise we are using c#, and VS2022 can't be beat in that regard.

Weelll, I started learning about rosenblatt perceptrons about 16 years ago, then moved on to learning how backpropagation worked, and implemented that a bunch of times. After that I spent a bunch of time building simple neural networks that could do simple OCR tasks.
However, today, you can probably skip all that, the frameworks and APIs are so powerful you can build pretty much anything you...

I would like to say my own tool, haha, but to skip the shamless self-promotion I am instead going to say the OpenAI Playground, it does pretty much everything without any fluff.
I also really like the AI integrations in Veed.io, such as their Text-to-Speech system, makes it much easier to produce videos when the environment around me is noisy, which can be a problem out on the sea.

Our goal is to make every note you write useful to yourself in the future. Existing note taking applications tend to become a black hole where notes go to die after a few years of active usage.
Our solution is to organize the notes into a mind map, this enables spatial navigation, which has been proven to be less intrusive to your current chain of thoughts, and more likely to yield...

Hello product hunt! 👋
I am Leif, Ginas co-founder.
To clarify, we are not a large company, it really is just the two of us.
Gina is the designer, I am the developer, and for the past 3 years, we have sacrificed blood, sweat, and tears to make Emberly what it is today.
We struggle with social anxiety, so we did not have high expectations in terms of launch results.
But for some reason we...

My guess is that being skilled with a particular tool will be less relevant, and on the flip-side, having good taste will be more important than ever.

From a business perspective, the pricing of ChatGPT is hard to beat. If you want to self-host, or host in a cloud, you are going to need some serious scale for that investment to be worthwhile.

This might be a bit of a boring answer, but, MS Teams, and only really the meetings functionality, and only because pretty much everyone has an account already.
But I would love to use something else, Teams is very unstable and temperamental, when you have 4 people in a meeting you can be pretty sure someone is going to have connection issues, or their microphone is going to stop working....

Hi! I have a few ideas for improving the above-fold design.
I would consider improving the relationship between the domain input field and the action button that triggers it, perhaps by making them inline, and only breaking them to separate lines for very narrow screens.
Example:
Another idea would be add more spacing between the top-sub-header and the h1 to make it clear the actual...
