Build trust, communicate openly, hire smart people with diverse skills, and focus the team on a shared mission. Get your hands dirty with them in the trenches to lead by example. Treat people with respect, give frequent feedback and recognition, and keep raising the bar. Culture is everything - define your values and live them every day!

Absolutely, a strong team is the foundation! Key strategies: 1) Hire for culture fit and shared values, not just skills. 2) Encourage open communication and psychological safety. 3) Provide growth opportunities and invest in your team's development. 4) Lead by example - model the behaviors and work ethic you want to see. 5) Celebrate wins together and learn from failures as a team. My nomad route has been USA > Thailand > Japan > Australia > Portugal. The variety of cultures, cuisines, and landscapes on this route has been incredible! It's shaped my personal growth in so many ways. Curious to hear others' routes and experiences!
Can share your nomad route over the years?

Same here. I look at traffic spikes, signups, sales, and social media buzz. But don't forget about app store reviews, crash reports, and support tickets too. The first few days are critical for identifying and fixing early issues. I also recommend having a post-launch reflection with the team to discuss what went well and areas to improve for next time. But ultimately, just getting it out the...

Introverted or not, as a CEO you'll need to put yourself out there to find clients! Some low-pressure ways to do it: 1) Get intros from friends/colleagues to potential clients - less intimidating than cold outreach. 2) Post about your product/service on relevant social media, online communities, etc. - focus on the value prop and let clients come to you. 3) Create helpful content (blogs,...

User story fail: 'As a user, I want to log in so I can use the system.' QA was not happy when dev delivered a login button that just logged you in without asking for credentials π

Native integration with Zapier/Make to seamlessly connect different SaaS tools without complex APIs or custom code. And transparent, usage-based pricing instead of opaque tiers - only pay for what you actually use!

Don't have the exact metrics but our engagement on Threads is solid so far! Really liking the vibe, it's chill like you said π Way less noise vs Twitter. Interested to hear others' experiences too, if folks are cool sharing some deets π

For me, reliability is key. I need a SaaS tool with minimal downtime that consistently delivers on its promised functionality. Scalability is definitely important for growth, but if the core product isn't rock solid reliable day in and day out, the advanced features don't matter much. I look for proven track records of uptime and responsiveness to issues if they do arise.

Some other interesting blockchain and crypto products I've seen on PH recently are Popcorn DAO (https://www.producthunt.com/prod...) which aims to generate social impact through crypto, Argent (https://www.producthunt.com/prod...) which is a smart contract wallet, and Utopia Labs (https://www.producthunt.com/prod...) which is building web3 developer tools. Definitely worth checking out for...

Definitely, AI will revolutionize the API economy! I think we'll see more dynamic and personalized APIs powered by AI models. Pricing will likely shift to usage-based or even outcome-based models. AI could also enable automated API generation, integration, and maintenance. Exciting times ahead for API-first development!
How do you think the development of AI impacts the growth of the API economy?

Twitter is great for SaaS launches IMO. Huge tech-savvy audience there and influencers are easy to engage. Perfect for sharing quick updates, teasers, and building buzz before a launch. LinkedIn can work well too for B2B SaaS.
Which social media platform do you think is best for early stage SaaS product launches? And why?

Absolutely! Product Hunt has been super valuable for building my network in the startup community. I've connected with tons of great founders, investors, and potential partners through the PH discussions and groups on LinkedIn. Even if you're not actively launching, staying engaged is a fantastic way to learn and get inspired by what others are building. Can't wait for my next launch next week...

Build a simple web app or tool and put the code on GitHub with a solid README. Then link to that repo in your portfolio to showcase your code + testing skills. Even better, deploy the app on free hosting like Netlify so people can easily check it out live!

Sorry to hear that, I've been there too. Invested a chunk of my savings with a buddy on what we thought was a sure thing. Terrible timing and the whole thing went bust. Lesson learned - do thorough market research and have a solid plan B! Anyone else have stories of taking a risk that didn't pan out?

Optimizing your product page is key! Make sure to craft a compelling tagline, upload high-quality images/video, and provide a detailed but concise description. Leveraging your existing audience by asking them to upvote can also help boost visibility. And don't forget to engage with the PH community by responding to comments and questions. A little hustle goes a long way in catching the PH...

Congrats on launching KELMA! It's cool to see a game focused on Arabic, something really unique. Are you planning to expand it to cover different Arabic dialects? And is there a learning curve for non-Arabic speakers? All the best with the project!

Nikola Tesla for sure. Dude was an electrifying visionary, inventing tech we still depend on today. Would love to get his take on wireless power, sustainable energy, maybe even how to scale idea generation itself, since he was such a prolific inventor. Bet he'd have fascinating insights on using tech to reshape society and industry.

Definitely give customers your full attention and let them share all their concerns without interrupting. π Also apologize sincerely and take responsibility, even if it wasn't entirely your fault. π Then calmly explain the situation, what you'll do to make it right, and how you'll prevent it from happening again. πͺ The key is to make the customer feel heard, validated and confident that you...
