I think they looked at why AmazonFresh was lagging in adoption and it was because people still want to pick their food/see it themselves. I also suspect they are now looking at industries that are in their sphere that need to be disrupted. This has huge potential and I look forward to trying it.

Glad that they have finally released this. Been a huge reason I was considering leaving Netflix. Amazon Prime has had this for a while and as a parent who wants to download kids shows and travels on an aircraft a lot, this is a must have feature. Looking forward to trying it out heavily this weekend as I fly to the east coast.
