@startupstella congrats on launching hoop, I'm excited to try out. Curious if there were any surprising user insights as you were doing user research that made their way into specific product features?
One example i noticed in onboarding was it looks like it shows a preview of a zoom gallery screen for tasks that originate in zoom. So curious to see how it works for my calls today

There is typically a tradeoff between data privacy and accuracy. But a bunch of new encryption technologies are changing the calculus. I'm so excited about nth party because it allows two parties to compare data sets like email lists without actually sharing the underlying sensitive information. Would love to hear what you all think!

I was a big fan of Glow's initial release back in December. It was cool to be able to read nicely formatted markdown right in my terminal and not have to jump back and forth to the browser to read my docs.
The new release is great for a few reasons: First, quickly browsing all markdown files in a project is awesome. Second, stashing important documents online, means I can read them from any...

Facebook and google ads are priced to a point where there isn't much opportunity for arbitrage, so companies have to think about new ways to acquire and retain customers. Increasingly "community" is the new user acquisition. As part of that, strategies that let companies build many-to-many relationships are really interesting and are becoming at least as important, if not more important, than...

I love the framing of this as a “podcast magazine.” It emphasizes how Wilson is really laser focused on helping address pain pounts in curation and discovery.

Hey Ian, can you talk a bit about how this works? At first I thought it was scraping twitter but looks like the “pros” are using the app itself. Can you talk a bit about how you built the community?

I've been a @shinetext user for a while and more recently got to work closely with the team during voicecamp @betaworks. I'm excited to hear feedback on their new app, which uses both technology and human touch (well, human voice), to extend the shine experience to audio.

Thanks so much for hunting! At @betaworks, we're going deep into voice interfaces with our new voicecamp accelerator (@thebetacamp). It's important to us to understand the nuances from a consumer perspective. So in preparation, I did a quick hack with my friend @orarbel to make Wiffy.
