Burnout is REAL and SCARY, do you have any tips?
I've been working remotely for a while now and everything was going perfect. At least that's what I thought...
What I didn't realise is that I was overworking myself for more than 2 years. Right now, I'm dealing with the consequences of feeling burnt-out. I'd appreciate it if you share some tips with me to get back on the RIGHT track this time š
oVice is back with a UI revamp to help remote and hybrid teams stay connected. We are excited to share a new style and features: a meeting scheduler, user list, map view, and more.

Hey, Product Hunt. Itās Maya from oVice chiming in!
Iād love to share what our team has been working on for the last couple of months - a UI revamp for oVice - an easy-to-use, immersive virtual office platform.
We wanted to make the new interface even more minimalist, to-the-point, and easy to use.
Easy access to the user list, stylish chat, and finer controls over the meeting settings are...

- Not focusing enough on feasibility, prioritizing "cool ideas" over practical impact.
- Not understanding the market well enough.
- Rushing the launch too much and pushing out products that shouldn't be in production.
- Having no strategy, acting sporadically.
- Not setting up success metrics.

Considering that getting first users is a huge dilemma for founders, it's great to see someone zoom into first user acquisition in a specific niche. Would love to see other industries featured as well.

The interface looks a lot simpler and more straighforward than Excel. You have an impressive toolset under your belt as well. Good luck with the launch.

How would you describe your product to a 5-year-old, a student, and an expert in your field?
Lately, I'm doing a lot of writing about my product (launching this week on Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/upcoming/ovice) and I'm wondering how to explain it in different levels of complexity. How would you, fellow makers, go about explaining your project to a 5-year-old, a high school student, and an expert? I'd love to read your ideas.

HubSpot helps manage sales and inbound marketing. Zapier is great for automating everything (especially sending out email campaigns), Ahrefs covers the groundwork for SEO, and Figma is really helpful for creating marketing collaterals. Notion is huge favorite of mine for documentation management.

I tell myself several things. For one, it's still only a day - you can do your best, but there will be tomorrow and you will have other things on your plate. Don't overthink this.
Also, it's good to have consistent promotion practices before the launch - engaging with the PH community, building a brand following, content marketing. You know that you can gain traction with these even if your...

Email links and OTPs are good authentication methods but neither are too reliable because they depend on the email provider and the cell connection. That's why I'd go with passwords plus email links for two-step authentication. Of course, social logins are really helpful because users don't have to enter theri credentials all the time.
Product builders, how would you like your users to login to your app? With or without passwords?

The interface is clean and the insights you offer are relevant to marketers and content writers. I'm wondering how it compares to Ahrefs, Semrush, and other traditional SEO tools.

The multi-functionality of this is amazing - it's a lunch box, a heater/cooler, a charger, all in one device. I appreciate the touch of sophistication you brought to the look - it feels like a really cool item to carry around.
