I continue to question the utility of this. What is the primary problem being solved? Unification of multiple cards into a single card? Not 100% sold that this notion alone provides value.
Straw poll, how many payment cards do you have in your wallet/purse right now?
Me: 3. And that's in my skinny-ass wallet.

Beautiful. I'll be backing this.
Of course, I might just have to buy an IPS panel and put it on the wall to get it before 2015!

There are a lot of products in this space. Just off the top of my head: meetings.io, hu.tt, gotomeeting, and tons more. I wonder how this differentiates, if at all?
The things I've encountered that make people fall back to WebEx (the horror!), Skype, or others:
* no clear indication of max # of participants (failing silently is awful)
* no text communications
* no screen sharing
*...

@phixx yup. That flow is paramount for adoption. Right now I'm stuck on the "create camera" screen until someone responds.

Yeah (re: buried). We like to make stuff hard to find. :)

Suggestion: it'd be nice to be able to start taking pictures after invites have been sent rather than block. It would probably help the out-of-box experience a bit, and you could do things with the picture I took to increase uptake with friends on FB.
Note: I built a very similar app before, so I love this idea :).

@UXAndrew I think that the medium IS the product (Throwback/Heyday/Between Us). It is the paper and the post office, and it is the thing that needs to be sticky in order for us to be using it and reaping benefits from the depth of the message in any future point in time.
Essentially, I agree with you. :)

Heyday does the recording of the story well, but IMHO doesn't do a great job of telling it back, not to mention telling a story that spans multiple days. The interface, since it is mobile, is too constrained. (Don't get me wrong, I love and use it.)
Stories feels pretty good, and if Auto Awesome does a good job, it should be the next generation livingroom slide show. :)
