Thank you Dan. This is such a solid write up, and one that I have resonated with greatly. I know that perfectionism and obsession is consuming my life and this suggested book will help me greatly. Design Sytems are overwhelming, and building one on top of the work you need to continuously get done can be time-consuming. Am I doing it correctly? Do I have time to research correct practices? These are all questions I have had for myself over the years. So I look forward to allocating time to creating a single source of truth design system for my company's product via Figmaster.
