Launched in 2015 by Sam Baumgarten, Pikkup has been servicing the L.A. area's moving and delivery needs in both a consumer-facing and B2B capacity. It's a peer-2-peer marketplace that functions as an Uber for trucks for Los Angelenos who need to haul items around but don't have a vehicle, and those who have a truck but nothing to move.
