Absolutely yes, I love Telegram's channels too. Whatsapp seems to be trying to catch up with telegram on everything.

I hear from leading product analysts that activation and retention should go before user acquisition. Because if users don't stay in your product for long, you can waste huge sums on marketing and the huge CAC with small revenue per user will eventually kill your product.

Drawing with pencils - I did that regularly as a child but quit it after finishing an art school.

In our case, paid ads (on LinkedIn) were one of two promotion channels we used for many months after the product was launched (the other channel being cold direct outreach). Neither worked too well. I have an assumption that many companies start with paid ads because they allegedly bring quick results, but this channel becomes less and less cost efficient over time

the simpler the better, clearly describing the content, with casual and friendly tone of voice
e.g. for a feature survey: 'Decide on the future of XX with us'
for a feature launch: 'Say Hi to {feature name}!'
for a blog post promotion: '10 link-building tactics that work wonders'
