ChatGPT has been a game changer over all for many.
Notion definitely.
And shameless plug… Obsolution.ai platform has completely changed the game on our software development. What took us weeks or months takes us days. That’s real results and why we are going to productize it. It’s also saved us Well over $100,000 because we didn’t need to hire any additional developers Or the project we...

Product hunt is a bunch of bots or fake accounts?
I find it strange that there are posts on here that are exact duplicates of each other Or deceiving because they are posting as if they are asking a question and then pretending to be someone else answering their own question or recommending the products that they created to themselves. Is this not against guidelines? Launching on Product Hunt and getting outvoted by people creating duplicate...

The other person must be your exact opposite when it comes to talents. There’s only so much time in the day to handle sales or development. Know who you are and find the partner who can help take the burden of the other stuff off. Everyone is so worried about equity but if you can never scale your company then the equity isn’t worth anything anyway.
Also, give me a follow back, our product is...

I work with Ai day in and day out… it can create cool visual things but I don’t foresee it being able to appeal to everyone until it’s been directly geared towards indivual people and their prefences. You can say
“make a picture of beautiful scenery”
And it comes up with a beach and you really think “beautiful scenery” is the mountains.

Wake up Monday and say “I’m glad it’s Tuesday!”
But seriously… if you love what you’re building, there is no “ugh, it’s Monday” feeling. If you start to feel like that then you may either need to take a vacation for a few days or reconsider if you are happy with what you’re doing. Life’s too short to not make everyday count.
We all have bad days, that’s normal. Don’t beat yourself up if you...

Y combinator videos are great. Neil Patel. YouTube has some great resources. Also… try being more specific and ask chatgpt for some recommendations, you’ll be given some great recommendations there as well. I also like to prompt chatgpt to be an expert on the things you want to learn and teach you/test you on the information

No context on what your product is beyond journaling so just based on the numbers you provide… If you have 70-80% women then that means 20-30% are men… so probably not a good idea to just market to one gender unless you are trying to pivot completely in to an all women’s product.

I was developing an all encompassing platform of lifes most important details to be housed in one place. I noticed that Apple was beta testing certain things that my app was going to tackle. I was working on this for a year and realized that in 2-3 years I’d get crushed. Meanwhile my competitors were raising lots of funding. Decided that those competitors would get killed next and they didnt...

Remind yourself that it’s just the beginning and that there is a lot more to do. Celebrate the achievement and be proud of yourself for “launching” but stay grounded. PH is not the thing that’s going to scale your business indefinitely.

I’m taking on the entire software development life cycle. From
Idea to deployment. We’ve already started getting some enterprises in our sights but we are hoping to find PMF with tech startups in Healthcare, fintech, etc as well as SMBs and Dev Agencies. We built the platform for ourselves as an agency first (with experience in all levels of company types) to automate everything we do from...

We built codewithcolt.com for ourselves first so we didn’t have to worry about this. Now we are going to be productizing it next month. It helped us scale our development life cycle and coding capabilities without having to pay $120k-150k for a new dev… not to mention we are deploying features 80% faster. Would love your support when we launch next month on PH!
While we don’t implement all of...

It comes down to the cost to automate it and if the thing that’s reoccurring is something that is really taking up as much time as you think.
I am all about effeciency but sometimes you may spend more time trying to build something to automate the task than the task is actually taking. If it will impact revenue (positively) and the ROI is there then that’s the best time to automate something.
How do you decide when to automate a task in your business? 🔄

We are launching on PH in October. The point of PH is to get more people to see your product so having 0 or 1,000 doesn’t really matter unless you are launching some sort of app that customers would expect to engage with other people. Then I’d recommend a waitlist until you hit a threshold that would give those customers value.
Check out our product and follow! 😁
