I'm working on a new vector graphics editor built for pattern creation, it's called Toukan. You can check it out here: https://toukan.io. In fact, what I'm building goes beyond pattern creation, it's a design tool geared towards generative design/art that borrows ideas from 3D/VFX softwares.
