Open source would be good the privacy can be audited and proven. But you need to be compensated as well - if you can figure how you can get paid (if you open source)... Apple is notorious for being unreasonable - I like what you are attempting. It’s long needed If you can add, threaded replies (like WhatsApp) that would be great. Group messaging on iMessage is horrible

How is this better than Workplace? We have been on workplace since its inception and people find it to be very good. However, WP has the same problem that FB has - separate app for messaging (although i hear FB is going to merge Messaging into FB adn WP soon).
