I think it depends on the type of research you want to conduct. Primary market research (aka the research you conduct yourself) is very helpful for product development and competitor analysis. While using tools like SEMRush or Ahrefs can give you some good data, it is all directed towards keywords and SEO. Which is helpful....but it also doesn't tell you what your audience actually thinks...

What kind of usability testing have you done (or are you interested in doing)? Just curious, because 2-4 weeks is a very long lead time! Depending the type of testing you might want to look into survey and experiment platforms like SightX (SightX.io). You can run your own studies easily (with your own audience or an online vetted research panel) and get data within days.
