Not a tool but just some general advice which I learnt the hard way.
1. Find an idea, could be an itch you want to scratch, a existing product that you can carve out a niche etc.
2. Get it validated
3. Are you sure it's validated?
4. Be really sure it's validated
5. Go build it

Would you pay a monthly subscription for UI testing services?
There's productized services for design, writing and marketing, but it seems like it's much harder for developers to adopt this kind of business model. How about something really narrow in scope such as UI testing?

Using paid ads to validate a product
I launched applimiter.com by mainly posting on social and brought in 500 views. I've had mixed feedback but no sign ups. I also ran a poll and most said they would hand roll this kind of code. However, after having dogfood Limiter with itself, I know it's not really trivial to implement such a solution.
Do you think it's a good idea to try paid ads with a small spend next? Or focus to on SEO...
