What is the model behind it? What are the privacy terms? (seeing the "newest" tab is scary in that regard)

This seems to be a scam site. Beware.

Name something scarier than organizing your whole life in a proprietary, for-profit software company. Without an easy way to take out the data and utilize it again - this is a "second brain suicide" in the making. Oh, and the guys who lost all their data in Evernote a few years ago sends their regards.
