I think it's different for a lot of people, especially in regards to how they like to work.
Personally, I tend to find myself being more productive working in a pattern of short bursts, with a small break in between (roughly 25 minutes 'on' and 5 minutes 'off').
This was something I learned to do during my studies, where I found myself getting restless doing long bursts of work at a time.
Do you think mobile phones, near workspace while working, break concentration?

Personally, I love listening to instrumentals of any kind (anything with lyrics tends to distract me, especially when I'm writing!)
I am often listening to J Dilla's discography while working, or some laid-back, coffee shop jazz 🎶

I take my switch with me wherever I go! Playing Pokemon on the tube makes my journey miles more comfortable
