Tim Boeckmann is the CEO and cofounder of Mailchain. Tim has been working in blockchain since 2017, whilst working at AWS, and started exploring messaging & communications in blockchain ecosystems in 2018. In 2022, Tim and his cofounder Rob, saw how Web3 could offer a safe, private & trusted way to communicate. They started working on Mailchain which launched in September 2022. Before this, Tim worked at AWS in the startups team (2016-2021), he created & ran an Emerging Technologies program, helping all blockchain startups on AWS. This included working with investors, protocols in the ecosystem, and supporting customer initiatives and growth. Outside of work, Tim spends time mentoring startups, cooking (& eating) and loves to travel to new places.
