i've tried a couple of these apps and i always have trouble with them. they have such good intentions, but every time i try to use it in a restaurant with a half dozen people, it takes longer than simply estimating and leaving a decent, rounded up tip. most of the time spent is the processing of the image and fixing the errors. how does this combat those problems? does it split it up into...

as someone who has had their car broken into twice WHILE the alarm was sounding, and the people in the house 10 feet away saying, "oh i thought it was a false alarm," i'm gonna say this isn't gonna do much to deter anyone. the fact that the thief could literally pick up the bike and run off makes this pointless.

as a designer, i love well-crafted html emails. but study and A/B test i read says, in order to avoid the algorithms that put you in the spam and "promotions" sections, plain text emails are the way. they're much less sales-y and feel more personal, as well.

i use OSMand DVR (odd name i know) for iOS and it works amazingly. no specific hardware needed and you can even disable the mic so that podcasts, music, and nav still plays.
