Working in the startup and investment space I wear many hats daily and don't always have time to get out my note pad, or open notion etc...plus it takes time to then decipher what is written lol. I also seem to have the best ideas when I'm about to snore my head off lol, so I...

There is no "one size fits all", but remember that investment is for scaling something that already has traction/strong signals from the market.
ALWAYS bootstrap as far as you can first, then if you do go the investment route it is crucial to have mutual alignment.
Investors should not be ONLY investing money.
Startups should not be ONLY seeking money.
Both must be aligned and fully...

It's a personal choice and depends on your objective. I wrote a short article about I here which includes a founder who is very effectively building in public. Hope it lends some insight https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/w...

FREE workbook to determine if your startup should be fundraising
I have come across a lot of startups who are fundraising and seeking investment for their startups, so I created a short workbook for startups who are thinking about fundraising, to help them determine if that is the choice that they should be making yet.
A lot of founders think that fundraising and investment is the only way to grow. It's not.
Fundraising is for scaling what has already had...

Agreed, having a native way to reach connections here would make things much easier. There would need to be a way to avoid spam copy/paste messages tho because that would create havoc! A filtering system would also help to streamline convos and label lists of "fave products" etc...

Welcome LOL - I spend lots of time in here but there are days when I do not have the band width, and that is totally ok :D
My own self-imposed PH streak is to make time at least 3 times per week and spend time trying to provide valuable insights, connecting on LinkedIN/zoom, and checking out superfantastical products that help my portfolios :D
Lost my 126 day streak….but check what happened..

In a nutshell, yes!
Teaching the correct successful methods/strategies for growth remove the need for investment (in initial stages).
Investment is for scaling what has already got strong growth and if you wish to scale fast whilst sharing your equity.
