I my opinion, it really depends on your goals and your target audience. Let's say you want a place to really talk to your audience, where they share they real feeling and concerns about your product or the context in which your product is placed. That place most likely isn't Linkedin.

I find really useful to explore beyond the project's barriers and I have a good feeling for that subjective and expansive phase of the project. Like you said, that's mostly where innovation comes from. Competitors, among other things, are like a user testing we didn't have to invest on: Most of the time, they already have the product up and running, with real users. I find it really useful to use the product myself as well as to follow what their users are saying about them on their comfort social media.

Congratulations on the launch and for making #2nd place so far! The platform is very straightforward and I like that a lot! You search, decide and download. I can also see it becoming much bigger with reviews. Really, the sky is the limit for you guys!

The more I explore Reddit, the more I realize how my target audience is deeply engaged in groups and discussions there. I see much more potential in focusing on Reddit than on Linkedin lately.
