By the time of launch, it had been 1 year since the idea came up: 1 year of designing, building, developing and testing (and testing an alcohol tracker app is one hell of a challenge, believe me). And I'm finally ready to present Drinkology to wide public.
It was November'21 when my brother visited Ukraine and we sat down discussing our plans for the future having a drink or two at a bar in...
Drinkology
Your sober tool for drinking
Drinkology is an alcohol tracker for social/occasional drinkers - people who would lose count of their drinks and feel regretful the next day. Sticking to personal limits with Drinkology helps you stay at "joyful" level with no reasons for a shameful morning.

I observed my friends who are pretty successful in their fields of business, but tend to lose all control when they drink too much. Sometimes that would even tell things they shouldn't tell at a business dinner after a few glasses of wine, later regretting their actions. Some of them tried alcohol tracking approach before, but there was always something missing in the apps they used.

For me simply listening to music in headphones is a great concentration booster, especially when doing routine/repetitive tasks. Hardest thing is facing multiple tasks at once and having to choose where to start, but it's more about dealing with procrastination than focus)
How do you stay focused? Are there any techniques you use?

Great idea and implementation! Much easier access to GPT than fiddling with Shortcuts, and might well become my first ever iMessage contact with subscription 😄 Would it be possible in future iterations to somehow organize and store different conversations, like the native web chat does?

Learning in progress right now - being an indie developer with introvert and tech-focused mindset, it's difficult for me to reach out to communities like this one for support and product outreach. What I understand right now is building a product is just the first step, being sincere and open to the world about your product is what can lead to success.
