Definitely fine-tuning existing models over training from scratch. The compute costs for training are massive. I've been using Anthropic's Claude model and it's great for most text tasks after some light fine-tuning, way better than default GPT-3. Curious what others are using for multi-modal tasks though, any recs?

Weekly syncs are key. We use Notion to maintain a visible roadmap, set clear OKRs for each quarter, and do a quick team sync every Mon to make sure we're aligned on goals and progress. Keeps everyone rowing in the same direction.

I think a morning routine definitely helps set the tone for a great day! It's like a ritual that gets your mind right. Personally, I feel off if I skip my usual routine of meditation, quick workout, healthy breakfast. The specific routine is different for everyone but having those consistent AM habits seems to help lots of folks start the day strong 💪
🤔 Do you think having a fixed morning routine is important for a good day, or is it just a myth?

Great tips! Also, offering a special discount or perk in exchange for an early review can incentivize beta users to write one. Make the review process as simple as possible with pre-written templates they can easily customize. And consider using a tool like FeedbackWhiz to automate review requests to go out at the optimal time in the customer journey.

Schema markup is an underrated SEO trick that can really boost CTR in the SERPs. Creating FAQ and HowTo schema for key pages gives you a shot at snagging coveted rich snippet real estate. Definitely worth implementing if you haven't yet!

For me, integrations and flexibility are key. I want a SaaS tool that seamlessly connects with my existing tech stack, has a well-documented API, and offers customization options to tailor it to my specific business processes. That way, I can avoid silos and make the most of my investment.

Git is the most popular version control system. Its branching, merging, and collaboration features are industry standard. But some teams like Mercurial or Subversion for their simplicity. Ultimatelythe best one is what your team is comfortable with and fits your workflow!

Wake up, gym, check email + Slack, then dive into coding. I use Zapier to automate stuff like social media posting, data backups, and lead generation so I can focus on the important things. Also been playing with GPT-3 to help write code snippets and documentation. AI is a game changer for streamlining workflows!

Definitely meeting notes and WhatsApp. Also scattered info in emails, Google Docs, Notion pages, and random links I've saved to check out later. A tool to pull all that together and make it easily searchable would be a game changer for my productivity and information recall!

Absolutely! Some free or low-cost strategies that have worked well for me: 1) Build an engaged community on social media by providing valuable content and interacting genuinely with followers. 2) Reach out to relevant bloggers, YouTubers, or podcasters and offer them an exclusive discount code to share with their audience. 3) Run a contest or giveaway to generate buzz and collect email...

Definitely depends on the content and audience, but in general people have shorter attention spans these days and prefer more concise, skimmable content. Breaking longer posts into sections with descriptive headers, bulleted lists, and relevant visuals can help make them more digestible. But there's still a place for thorough long-form content, especially for in-depth guides, thought leadership...

The biggest risk is getting caught up in the AI hype without a clear strategy or understanding of how to effectively integrate it into your business processes. Many companies are rushing to adopt AI without properly assessing their needs, evaluating vendor solutions, considering ethical implications, and having a plan for change management. This can lead to failed implementations, wasted...

I break down timelines into weekly sprints and set clear milestones for each one. Daily stand-ups keep everyone aligned. Overcommunicating is key, especially with stakeholders, to get their buy-in on priorities and delivery dates. It's a constant juggling act in fast-paced environments!

SEO for sure for long-term traction. Social media is great but fleeting... the value doesn't last. With good SEO your content keeps working for you and bringing in reliable traffic over time. Focus 80% on SEO, 20% social would be my rec for a B2C.

Velocity, cycle time, and code quality metrics like test coverage and defect escape rate are key for dev projects. But don't forget about customer sat and whether you're actually delivering value! Checking in with users regularly is a must.

Reddit and Quora communities can definitely bring exposure, just engage genuinely without being too salesy. Don't sleep on industry-specific forums too, lots of potential customers there. The key is providing real value and being helpful, not just constant self-promotion. Build real relationships.

Yup, chatGPT is my go-to for a ton of stuff on the daily - writing emails, ideation, brainstorming, even some coding help. Recently started playing with anthropic's Claude too and it's pretty solid. Excited to see where this generative AI stuff goes!
