Now, I've run out of ideas. If you were me, how would you grow substor.com? Remember, there are no wrong answers.

Hey, congratz on hitting #12! I think you did great with how few followers you got before the launch. The website seems to be quite friendly to anyone joining the community within a short period of time. I did visit the website back then, and after reading "Connect with your followers" I know it won't be for me! ;D If I was you, since my app target people with followers, I would try to look at what my targetted potential customers are using. You probably have in mind a list of "popular" apps that are already doing what your app is offering. I would focus on what I do differently and better than the competition. If it's out of reach, I would simply try to reach the communities that are actively using those apps, or simply read the forums of those so-called apps and check on the "suggestions" part of it. You could get a lot of ideas and feedback on what you could do more for your own app. If you judge your app to be already optimal or at least doing something others don't, I would make a video about it and how it could be used at its best while giving arguments on why your app is a better investment. You can bank on the "vision" of the app and upcoming features and compare others, you are flexible on how the app could turn out in the future. That's the biggest advantage you got as a starter that others big companies can't afford to risk. Ultimately, people want to get into an app that is worth the investment in the long term. Nobody wants to end up using 2-3 different apps daily to accomplish one specific task. I have been checking other products and I hardly see anyone comparing their product to the competition. Not sure if it exists yet, but PH should have some sort of listing based on the type of app and what it really does from start to end. Also, the descriptions are kind of unclear (I am maybe too dumb! haha) In the end, it boils down to what the apps do for me and what they accomplish; and intend to be completely vague about it. Also, all of those apps seem to be more about what I can do about it rather than what it does for me. I think unsavvy people, for them, will be considered as working for it, which requires some learning curve and an extent of usage to get to master the app, and they certainly don't want that because it takes them away from their job. You actually want an app that does the work for you. I think those types are the most popular. I think putting video content on how your app works and what it does and why people should use it would be something to consider! Hope it helps! ;D

Thank you @jack95 for taking out time and becoming a ray of light for me in this darkness. . There are plenty of apps out there that content creators use. But, most probably these communities will be run by the company, how should I approach other users there without getting banned? There are a lot features which needs to be added. This version is the bare minimum of it. How should I present all the features that will come in the future as the app gains some traction? Should I tell about it in a video or make a web page with time line? You are right, I need to make VS pages. It will help with the SEO as well.

@gaurav_verma10 You are welcome! Indeed, those forums may have rules on avoiding the mention of other apps, just have a look if such topics are being taken as "why aren't you guys doing as "Company B" etc. You can also take the initiative on getting those companies' apps and make # and keywords within Youtube, Twitter, etc. Make content that targets those apps, so your content may appear to them if they are searching for solutions. You can present all the features by working on ADOBE XD (you can look at mine) and make a presentation of it, making some diagram or whatever may help to convey your vision of the future features of the App. You can downplay this by offering a low price of entrance for early adopters, and within the completion of your app with the upcoming features with a higher price of entrance based on a more fletched product and also to create a FOMO effect. A video and a web page with a timeline/milestone are the way to go. You really got to protect yourself and offer a clear vision about what the app is gonna be. You can even make some short description on how it's gonna be done. Best of luck!
