    I read this nice article with the ideas of 12 experts around the future of AI. The one that I find interesting (something we all know or suspect somehow) is that the modularity and commoditization of AI " cause attractive profits to disappear at one stage in the value chain, the opportunity to earn attractive profits with proprietary products will usually emerge at an adjacent stage.” Below and above :- Do you agree that this fierce competition at the app layer will create value that can be captured at the infrastructure layer (below) and interface layer (above)? https://www.apifirst.tech/p/ai-and-apis-what-experts-think-the-future-holds

I agree that as AI components become more modular and commoditized, the competition at the application layer will indeed drive value creation to other parts of the value chain. Interface Layer (Above): User experience is becoming increasingly important. As AI tools become more integrated into everyday applications, the differentiator will often be how seamlessly and intuitively users can interact with these tools. Companies that focus on creating exceptional user interfaces and experiences will likely find significant opportunities here.
