Consumer reviews are an essential tool for each Internet user. They allow you to make a decision about purchasing or not a certain product or service. I usually look for info on this https://www.instagram.com/pissed... website. To avoid problems, it's better to use only reputable sites and pay attention to online reviews.

i always do a google search, can easily find some red flags. Social media presence, any reviews, etc.

Hi, The way I do this is by first looking at how the website is built. If it looks clanky, that's already a bad sign. Images missing, text misplaced, or just within some weird grammatical errors (worse than mine ;D). Second, the serious part, the brand has to be related to the name of the owner and location. If you can't find this type of information, that's a red flag. Google the name of the business to see any type of result and where it leads to. Do the same for the name. Depending on where the business is located, search for the government website listing business's legal information (for me it's societe.com). Everything should match and if you can't find anything = a very high chance to be a scam. For the last treat, get the address of the business, use google Maps, and see if the place has any of the mentioned brands on the website. If you end up in some empty street or a place with a different business, stay away from it. I hope it helps!
