Anyone for some launch day tips?

I don't want to seem spammy and just upvote and comment on everything just to try and get followers or activity, same for twitter too, I'm not a spammy guy to be honest and social media/marketing isn't really my game, SO any tips would be greatly appreciated and taken on board.

Hey Carl,
I'm also not into spamming, though tbh our launch day last week was a lot of messaging that some would consider spam.
Frankly, it does involve commenting, upvoting and amassing followers because that's the game but it's just what engaging with this particular community looks like. Every social media has its own incentivised behaviours.
The best thing I think you can do is try to engage with people in discussions, give product feedback and be visible by writing thoughtful, authentic contributions.
But I'm still learning, so take it with a pinch of salt!
@dextersjab Yup. Lots of spammers on producthunt unfortunately. And support isn't doing anything about it. I would report the spam if you see it. Then you did your part at least. If its jut a generic comment its spam.
