I'm not sure AI will be able to concoct creative and truly original ideas from the information it receives. I feel like it will always lack an ability to be 'inspired', as inspiration leads you to dream, and I think that is an ability that for now seems to be something we were blessed/cursed with and can't be manufactured.

@sambit_bhaumik While Generative AI and AGI showcase creativity, the capacity for inspiration and dreaming, intrinsic to human experience, remains beyond the reach of AI and robots.

@sambit_bhaumik Pretty sure there are some ways for AI models to "hallucinate" in the right direction. So let's say that when we dream we make new synaptic connections in our brain to come up with ideas - AI will probably be able to make these connections to come up with new and relevant ideas

Once we have AI robots they will be so sentient, that they will refuse to do plumbing.

That's a hard No, but whatever AI won't be able to perform, it will be because we have been relegated to those menial tasks it deems not important 🤣

Certainly! While AI and robots continue to advance rapidly, there are certain tasks that may be challenging for them to perform. Tasks requiring complex emotional intelligence, deep human empathy, and nuanced understanding of social and cultural contexts might remain beyond their reach.
