Fellow hunters, I’ve been working on a new product for the past couple of months, and I genuinely want to get your opinion on it. Introducing Slap, a social platform designed for teenagers to anonymously DM other students within their school. The aim is to foster positivity among teenagers online. You might be wondering, “How can we ensure that hate speech, bullying or negative comments aren’t being spread on the platform?”. That is because users can only choose from pre-added text maintained by admins. Slap requires users to select their school, grade, and gender during the onboarding process. This information is used to determine who sent the DM, set gender preferences, and enable a school-based network only. Here are some features designed to be as inclusive as possible: • No “add friends” option – everyone in your school is open to interact with. • A single DM only, with no further conversations. • Receivers can request hints to keep things interesting and curious. • Every time a user sends a DM, everyone in that school gets a notification to send a DM to the person who sent the initial DM, increasing engagement. Here is the link to download and test from the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/slap/id6476638965 Looking forward to your feedback!
