A Chicago style deep dish pizza is a pizza for sure. There is nothing wrong with it. Though it has a different look and taste, it’s still a pizza. A large number of the world’s population consume pizza on a daily basis. Some of them consume it only with one topping (white cheese), some of them with all the toppings. The important thing is that an Italian invented this, and an Italian or Italian American created the Chicago style deep dish pizza. Its pizza and nothing else.

To answer this question, we must first ask one thing- what is a pizza? Then we can answer the question. We know that it is a flatbread with topping. We also know that the topping is placed on top of the dough. But, here’s the catch, the dough is flat and not deep. So, Chicago style pizza is indeed a pizza.
