Dark mode. I just switched to the light mode in Slack for some screenshots a couple of days ago and it was so hard to watch at it.

Our news app Critix uses multiple color palettes to choose from. News are not black or white/dark or light, so we made our news colorful instead
It depend on the product. Tech community loves dark mode, but non-tech community is more confortable with light mode.
