    Google introduced the new Google Search powered by AI Features include: - AI overview: Original, Simpler, breakdowns of results - Advanced planning of meals, events - AI- organized results - Troubleshoot with video Ranking for AI search might be difficult. What do you think?

    Looking at the subreddit r/SEO there are countless posts after the HCU in March that basically complain how Google killed the visibility of their websites. I think this is a clear signal of the shift in direction they are taking for Search. I am wondering if it makes sense to invest some time to be "SEO compliant" for my product or ditch it altogether

    @marcellodomenis If I got a penny every time someone posts about Google killing SEO on r/SEO, I'd drink with Tim Cook, send Neil Patel memes in private convos, and probably have like two private jets for which everyone would harass me on Twitter, oh sorry, X. I've also possibly pulled off something stupid like Mask did, and renamed Google to Shmugle. So, I guess I just wanted to say, do not take them seriously 😉

    I see Google's AI-powered search as an evolution rather than the end of SEO. SEO isn't dead; it's just shifting. We'll need to adapt by focusing more on quality content, user experience, and understanding AI algorithms. Embracing these changes can actually boost our visibility and reach.

    As long as you've a good amount of high DA backlinks, I don't think it can affect you much, but that's not going to be easy for startups :(

    I dont think SEO is dead. This is the time to focus on it more. As google fights back to perplexity and improves their searches they will surely take advantage of all the SEO websites do. This will eventually help us as a user. So, No SEO wont die.

    It's a good question to put on agenda. Back in the days Google already nailed SEO in the market but still SEO needs to cover the different view points of customers. Google's SEO strength might be increased with new AI features. At the same time, users will also need variety of channels to support their new type of strategy. So, I guess it's on shifting now where old & new algorithm exist together, rather than not just killing their past effort.

    Some SEOs sort of shot themselves in the foot with the HCU and March Rollout update, they will never ever say they are the weakest link, but it’s Google’s fault. People who have been hit or de-indexed, look to yourself.
