Did you also lose most of the accounts you are following?

So, woke up this morning to what seems like an update. Almost all the accounts I was following have vanished. I believe they were initially auto-followed based on Twitter(X) accounts I was following at the time I signed up (using Social sign-on). Have you seen a sudden drop in your followed accounts as well? What's your take?
