Do social media ads suffer from banner blindness?

I feel like banner blindness applies to new forms of ads too. I find it way too convenient to scroll past ads and for some reason sponsored content sticks out like a store thumb. The only reaction these ads get from me is scrolling back occasionally and thinking: "LOL, I knew it was an ad."
Do you stick to social media ads? Is there any workaround for it that doesn't rely on affiliate marketing?

I don't really think that social media ads suffer from banner blindness. It really depends so much on the ad creative. Because these days, the ad creative is somehow the targeting. Creating a really good ad creative can get you tons of clicks, but if not, you are just wasting your money and time.
So make sure you invest in your ad creatives to get ahead of banner blindness.

Yeah, banner blindness is real, but if your ad's creative and targeting are on point, you can still grab attention. Worked for my last launch.
