Do you feel like you make the most of your connections / network?

We've all heard the saying "your network is your net worth." I'm curious to know how many of us feel like we're really leveraging our network for professional and personal success and development.

I feel that while I have been trying to build and develop my network, I sometimes feel that I am not that ready in terms of putting the information to use. I feel that I am still looking for information and still deciding what kind of value I want to add to the people I connect with. It is sometimes difficult to get in touch with my network and use it for the benefit of both sides.

I think all of us feel that we could do a better job utilizing our network, but it is actually pretty hard to do. Although it may be hard, it is very important because it can open doors that we couldn't access before. Also, your network can help you find jobs, clients, and even valuable contacts.
