Yes, it's a helpful community and one can find tons of useful information. Plus, awesome for promoting a product via discussions, etc.

Only when I started working on my own side projects I realized it's a gold mine. Being helpful there and playing it right can get you insane amount of traffic and invaluable feedback

Reddit's surprisingly good for market research.
I float ideas in relevant subreddits and the brutal honesty of anonymous feedback is actually super helpful.

Yeah, Reddit is great for finding useful info and interesting discussions on all sorts of niche topics. I've also used it to get the word out about my latest projects - if you approach it authentically and add value to the conversations, it can definitely help drive some targeted traffic and engagement. The key is participating in the most relevant subreddits for your product/industry and not being too spammy or promotional. Contribute and build relationships first.
